Domestic Shipping
Shipping rates are as follows:
Orders ≤ $10:
Standard Post – $4
Express Post – $5
Orders between $10 and $30:
Standard Post – Free
Express Post – $5
Orders over $30:
Standard Post – N/A
Express Post – Free
All orders are shipped via Australia Post, and a tracking number will be provided once your order is dispatched.
Important Note on Backpacks and Bulky Items
Backpacks and other bulky items are excluded from the above shipping rate conditions. These will be sent via Standard Post for free by default.
If you prefer Express Post for a bulky item, there is a $5 fee. Please note that in rare cases, if your address is classified as rural by Australia Post, we reserve the right to refund any express postage fees paid and ship your item via Standard Post instead.
International Shipping
All international orders are shipped via Australia Post International and include end-to-end tracking. Delivery typically takes 6–10 business days to clear customs and arrive at most destinations.
Important Note on Backpacks and Bulky Items
Backpacks and other bulky items will be shipped via Standard International Post by default.
If you prefer Express International Shipping for a bulky item, there is a flat $5 fee. Please note that in rare cases, if your address is classified as rural by Australia Post or the carrier, we reserve the right to refund the express postage fee and ship your parcel via Standard International Post instead.
Customs Duty & Fees
Please note:
Some countries may apply customs duties, VAT, or import taxes upon delivery.
These charges are not collected, pre-paid, or determined by Moderntrendshop.
The customer is responsible for any such fees.
Customs clearance can sometimes delay delivery times.
Note
Moderntrendshop is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after the tracking status shows 'Delivered' to the correct address.
Dispatch
All orders are shipped from Alexandria, NSW 2015.
- Orders are typically dispatched within 24 hours of being placed, during our business hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (AEST)
Dispatch times may be affected by: Stock discrepancies, delays with Australia Post or rare external factors beyond our control
Before completing your purchase, the shipping cost will be clearly displayed at checkout. At this point, you will have the option to proceed with your order or cancel it before final confirmation.
Back Orders
We do not offer back orders under normal circumstances.
- Back orders are only permitted when required to correct an error on a previous order.
- If an item in your order is unexpectedly out of stock:
- We will contact you directly
- We will ship the in-stock items after if upon request
- The remaining item(s) will be sent as soon as they become available or refunded if requested
